Who we are

Dobbert Consulting is a small business consulting firm focused on helping owners create more structure behind the work they do every day.

We work with startups, small businesses, and service-based businesses that need stronger systems, better organization, and more visibility into how the business actually runs. That may mean helping a business owner clarify priorities, improve workflow, organize tools and information, or build a stronger foundation for growth.

Our approach is practical by design. We are not interested in making the business more complicated. We are here to help make it more workable.

What we believe

A business should not feel harder to run than it needs to be.

Many small business owners do great work for their customers while carrying too much of the business in their own head. Over time, that creates stress, inconsistency, and a constant feeling that something important is being missed.

We believe better systems can change that. Clearer workflows, more useful tools, better organization, and stronger operational structure can make a business easier to manage, easier to understand, and better prepared for growth.

Good consulting should lead to practical improvement — not vague advice, extra complexity, or recommendations that only work in theory.

Meet the team

We built Dobbert Consulting around the idea that good business support should be practical, thoughtful, and grounded in real life. Working together allows us to bring both strategy and hands-on support to the table, helping clients move from scattered and reactive toward clearer systems, stronger structure, and a business that feels easier to run.

Who we work with

Dobbert Consulting works with startups, small businesses, and service-based businesses that need clearer systems and better operational structure.

We are often a strong fit for:

  • new businesses that want to get started with a stronger foundation
  • owners who feel like too much of the business is scattered or reactive
  • service businesses that need better visibility, workflow, and follow-through
  • businesses that have grown beyond informal systems
  • owners who want practical support, not unnecessary complexity

We work especially well with businesses that are ready to be thoughtful about how the business runs, not just the work it delivers.

What makes our approach different

Dobbert Consulting is built around the Dobbert Service Business System, a practical framework for understanding how a service business actually functions behind the scenes.

Rather than looking at the business as one big problem, this framework breaks it into five connected domains: Market, Pipeline, Delivery, Money, and Control. Together, these areas help business owners see where the business is strong, where things are breaking down, and what needs attention first.

This approach helps us stay practical. Instead of offering vague advice or isolated fixes, we look at how the parts of the business work together and where better systems can improve clarity, consistency, and control.

Why businesses choose Dobbert Consulting

Businesses choose Dobbert Consulting because they want more than general advice. They want a clearer way to understand what is working, what is not, and what needs to happen next.

The Dobbert Service Business System gives clients a structured way to think about the business through the five domains of Market, Pipeline, Delivery, Money, and Control. That structure helps turn scattered challenges into something more visible, more manageable, and easier to improve.

Rather than chasing symptoms one at a time, we help clients see how the parts of the business connect — and where stronger systems can improve clarity, consistency, and control. The result is a more grounded consulting process and a better foundation for real operational improvement.
